  Nice shopping, but the cashiers tend to miss that I bring my own bag(which I purchased a Best Market Bag). Even though I tell them I have a bag. So I don't get the 10 cent discount.

  When I first went to Best Market I really liked the selection. There are many international brands and selections I wouldn't see in a typical grocery. Maybe in Fairway, but that is a bit far from me. However, the more I shopped here the more issues I had when I got the groceries home. Their produce is not fresh. I have had to throw out so many items I bought from Best Market it makes me angry. The fruit, and vegetables are always bad within a day or two. Also the chicken was rotten and couldn't eat it. I do enjoy their pastrami and that is at the hot meat counter in the back. You must arrive before 5 as it is often sold out. Also I like their fresh juice bar. Those foods continued to bring me back. The chicken salad is tasty as well. I did like the mozerella and tomato, but they started only making it in the large party trays. They don't pay much attention when I asked to bring back the smaller size. Then this past week was the last draw. I already know not to buy the discounted $1 or $2 managers specials off the meats. They have packaged cold cuts that you can grab. I saw roast beef for $7 and I took it home. I went to make a sandwich and it smelled awful. I thought I was imagining it and took a small bite as I had just bought it and yes it was horribly spoiled. disgusting. I decided to get my money back this time. There is no manager to help and I had to wait on line 5 to get a refund. The line was too big so I returned it when I bought other food. The cashier couldn't believe how bad it smelled and said she had the same experience with some she bought. That is my last time going to Best Market. I am not shopping at a place where anything fresh and healthy I might buy is ready for the garbage.

  Clean store, good produce, deli counter, seafood and meat department. Has great variety of domestic and imported cheeses . I would like to see a better selection of preparred foods. Store has a good variety of products and is great for quick shopping visits. The parking lot is a bit tight but other than that store is very good.
